senbonzakura Biography (Zanpakuto Bio)

The Senbonzakura belongs to one Kuchiki Byakuya the elder brother in law of Rukia Kuchiki. he states many times that his job is to kill everyone who breaks the law. in its shikai state the blade of the sword breaks into many almost invisible shards which can be manipulated at his will. the shards reflect the sunlight and turn a slight pink which deceptivly make them look like sakura (cherry blossom) petals.

His bankai is almost the same as his shikai only with more petals many more petals. he can use these petals for a defense and offense similar to gaaras (naruto) ability to manipulate sand. there is another form to his bankai though, the annihilationscape. essentialy the annihilationscape slows down the opponent allowing Byakuya to gain the upper hand.

Byakuya states that he has only used this move twice, one of which was on the Ichigo. as a last resort he forms all the blades from his bankai into one single blade which has a extremouly hightened cutting power
